Rufa Mae Quinto expressed her loss on Instagram as her mother, Fe Ocampo, passed away today, May 26.

She recalled all the milestones in her life that her mother witnessed. She wrote, “Ma, I love you.  Lagi ko tatandaan yung sinabi mo na wag ka matakot, maging matapang ka para sa anak mo. Ang sakit mawalan ng ina #mommycarol #rip Rest in peace. We love you. Ang picture na ito kuha 2 weeks ago kasi 3 generations kami dito. Ito na pala ang last picture natin pero forever we will miss you."

She added, "Birthday ko pa naman. At least pumikit ka lang at natulog. Nakita mo ang apo mo. Naka-attend ka ng first birthday ni @alexandriamagallanes at nakita mo ako kinasal, lumagay sa tahimik. Kaya ikaw din, tahimik na.”

Rufa Mae is celebrating her birthday this May 28.
