Ruffa Gutierrez believes in real love because of her parents, veteran actors Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez.

The Beauty Empire star took to Instagram to share old photos of her parents --from their wedding day to the present --showing that their marriage remains strong after 52 years together.

“I called my mom earlier and she said, “Mamaya na, Ruffita. Inaasikaso ko pa si Daddy mo,” then hung up,” she shared.

The actress revealed that her father has not been feeling well over the past few weeks, and she has witnessed her mother taking care of him.

“Seeing them still in love after 52 years together makes me believe that forever really does exist,” she expressed.

Ruffa admitted that she realized two things while watching her parents stand the test of time.

She shared that she is grateful to still be able to spend quality time with them, saying, “Family is everything.”

Her second realization came from her own personal experiences with love and heartbreak.

“After all the ups and downs I've faced…the heartbreaks, the lessons, and the moments where I had to stand strong on my own…I'm holding on to the promise that God doesn't want me to give up on the dream of having a beautiful family,” the actress said.

Ruffa added, “Because I deserve it. And I'm worth it.”

Ruffa was previously married to Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas. The two tied the knot in 2003 but separated in 2007, with their marriage officially annulled in 2012. They share two daughters, Lorin and Venice.

In June 2024, Ruffa confirmed that she was in a relationship with Herbert Bautista.

However, during her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on June 12, she revealed that they were “going through a bump” and were not on speaking terms at the moment.
