For the uninitiated, RuPaul's Drag Race is an over-the-top reality competition where drag queens from different backgrounds compete for the title to be America's Next Drag Superstar.

In just 11 seasons, the show cemented its place as a pop culture phenomenon due to the stories of triumph, defeat, high kicks, splits, and more all found within a 60-minute episode.

What more could we ask for?

Now, the show has finally found its way to Philippine mainstream media in GMA's newest suspense-drama series, Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko.

One eagle-eyed netizen who goes by Twitter handle @madoxified noticed how the main cast of the show share similar names with RuPaul's Drag Race queens from seasons past.

Megan Young's Yvie for Yvie Oddly, season 11 winner; Rayver Cruz's Matteo for Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, also from season 11; Kim Domingo's Katya for Katya Zamolodchikova, season 7's Miss Congeniality; and Kris Bernal's Naomi for Naomi Smalls, one of the runners-up in season 8.

But the comparisons don't stop there, even the names of the supporting characters also make a reference to RuPaul's Drag Race queens.

Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko lead actress, Megan Young, who plays the strong and empowered Yvie, feels quite happy with the connection.

Not only is she an avid fan of RuPaul's Drag Race, the season 11 winner that her role is named after also happens to be one of her favorite drag queens.

In an exclusive interview with Megan, she shared that aside from Yvie Oddly, she also loves the likes of Sasha Velour, Jinx Monsoon, and Bianca del Rio.
