Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid revealed that Yassi Pressman, his co-star in the upcoming GMA Pictures and Viva Films movie titled Video City, was one of his first celebrity crushes.
When he was still competing in Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break in 2012, Yassi became Ruru's partner in a dance number.
At least alam na niya ngayon," Ruru added while laughing.
Ruru then explained that when he was still making his entry into show business, he would often have a crush on celebrities he would meet in GMA.
Lahat, like si Barbie [Forteza], Bea [Binene], Lexi Fernandez, so lahat talaga.
'Video City' tells the story of Han (Ruru), a film student who travels back to the 90s where he meets Ningning (Yassi), a woman who will change his life.
The movie is directed by Raynier Brizuela; co-written by him and Che Espiritu, writer and director of 2018 Cinemalaya film Pan de Salawal.
