Isang malaking karangalan para sa Kapuso hunk Ruru Madrid ang tanghaling Most Promising Male Star of the Year sa katatapos na 49th Box-office Entertainment Awards ng Guillermo Mendoza Scholarship Foundation.

Sa post ni Ruru sa Instagram, nagpasalamat siya sa lahat ng mga tao na laging naka-suporta sa kaniya.

Nagbigay pugay din siya sa dati niyang manager, the late director Maryo J Delos Reyes.

“Thank you 49th Box Office Entertainment Award for the recognition as the Most Promising Male Star of the Year! I would like to dedicate this award to my family, supporters (RuruNatics) and of course to my late manager Direk Maryo J Delos Reyes!”
