OG Pinoy Runner Ruru Madrid will have a special participation in the "Runners in Borderland" race of Running Man Philippines season. This will be the final race of the program airing on September 7 and September 8 on GMA weekend primetime.

Based on the comments on its online teasers and TV plugs, avid fans of the reality show are all excited to see the Kapuso Primetime Action Hero join his fellow Runners.

Facebook user Crisshine Joyce Faba said, “Welcome back, Ruru Madrid The OG' Ang saya na makitang bumalik ka sa Running Man Philippines family for Season 2! Na-miss namin ang energy mo, ang pagiging witty, at ang unique charm na dinadala mo sa show. Kahit na na-miss ka namin habang busy ka sa Black Rider, sobrang proud kami sa success mo doon.”

Meanwhile, another fans on Instagram described Ruru as a very competitive person that will spice up things in the finale episodes.

“The fact na talagang palaban itong si @rurumadrid8 , alam mong it's not going to be easy. Although I love all the runners, Ruru and Glaiza are my favorites coz they are very competitive.”

In a web exclusive video, Ruru Madrid shared his thoughts about this incredible opportunity to be part of season two.

“Nakakatuwa na pakiramdam ko pa rin Runner pa rin talaga ako, kahit hindi ko nakumpleto ang season two.

“Naramdaman ko 'yung pagka-miss ng co-Runners ko at ng lahat ng staff na nandito. So, parang.. para akong nakahinga alam mo 'yung ganun. Na parang from tuloy-tuloy na trabaho sa Pilipinas for Black Rider.”

Ruru continued, “Tapos ngayon pumunta ako ng Korea para makita ko 'yung co-Runners ko at lahat ng staff ng Running Man para akong na-recharged kumbaga at na-excite.”
