Indie rock band member Saab Magalona expressed her sadness over a tabloid article which features her showing off her baby bump in a two-piece bikini.
The former actress posted on her Twitter account some portions of the write up, which she described as "gross."
People need to stop thinking this shit is normal pic.twitter.com/mY4y5w9xiz

She later identified the writer as Rey Pumaloy from Abante.
GROSS. Women don’t post photos para magmukhang “katakam-takam” o “malinamnam” para sa mga lalaki!!!!!

For everyone asking, this from an article on tabloid Abante. Don’t want to post the link bec let’s not give their website clicks. Writer is Rey Pumaloy.

Moreover, the daughter of the late Master Rapper Francis Magalona also pointed out some inaccuracies about Pumaloy’s article.
At kailan ako naging MUSIC VIDEO JOCK??

According to Saab, this way of thinking about women is being normalized through this clickbait article.
I believe that the writer is not interested in women. I want to think he does not actually view girls as meat. I know his intention was just to write a clickbait article for a market that normalizes this way of thinking. I'm not angry, just sad.

For context, here’s my “pregnant unicorn” photo. If you really wanna sexualize this cute twin baby bump, tangina mo nalang ?? https://t.co/B4KLjgPnsK

A netizen later informed her that Rey Pumaloy reacted on her Twitter rant.
