Sam Hammington couldn't help but break down in tears during "The Hammingtons in Juanderland" fan meeting in Manila.

Sam Hammington got emotional while thanking fans for loving his sons William and Bentley during their first fan meeting in Manila.

Former The Return of Superman stars Sam, William, and Bentley held their "The Hammingtons in Juanderland" fan meeting at the New Frontier Theatre on Sunday, July 17.

As he was giving his farewell message to fans, Sam got teary-eyed as he didn't expect the amount of love and support they were receiving.

"I just want to say thank you to each and everyone of you. It means so much to be up here after the last two years, everything with COVID, it's been tough for everyone. But also for my wife and I to have William and Bentley, it wasn't easy. We went through a difficult time trying to have children," he said.

Sam continued, "They mean the world to us but to know that there are people all over the world that love them so much. Thank you, thank you so much. I just want to say that we appreciate all your support."

When asked how he felt to be in Manila, Sam said that he had a great time and appreciated the Filipino food and the people.

Sam also shared that he wishes to visit Boracay, Cebu, and Palawan when he gets the chance to come back to the Philippines.

Sam, William, and Bentley rose to fame in 2016 when they joined the roster for The Return of Superman, a reality show featuring celebrity dads and their children.

The three quickly became fan favorites and eventually brought home the prestigious "Grand Prize" (locally known as "Daesang") at the 2018 KBS Entertainment Awards, along with the other cast.

Since leaving the show in 2021, Sam and the kids have been busy with different projects such as Wilbengers: Suspicious Camping Commotion, an animated superhero film, a new variety show titled The Hammingtons' Dream Closet, and their very own YouTube channel, THE WILLBEN SHOW, which has now amassed more than 350,000 subscribers.
