Television personality, influencer, and entrepreneur Sam Verzosa once again brought joy and encouragement to young patients at the Philippine Children's Medical Center (PCMC) after hosting the annual Christmas party and gift-giving activity for children undergoing treatment, including those battling cancer and kidney-related illnesses.

The holiday event was marked by laughter, smiles, and emotional moments as Verzosa personally interacted with the children and their families, distributing gifts, raffle prizes, and festive treats.

Organizers said the initiative aimed not only to provide material support but also to uplift the spirits of children spending the holidays inside the hospital.

“This is not just about giving gifts. It's about being present and making these children feel that they are loved, supported, and not alone in their fight, Versoza said.

Sam Versoza visited Hemodialysis patients in PCMC for his annual gift-giving.

A particularly touching moment occurred when Verzosa reunited with a young patient he first met during last year's Christmas celebration.

The child, who happened to be celebrating his birthday on the same day, had earlier shared a wish for a tablet. During the raffle draw, his name was called and received the gadget — an emotional highlight that drew smiles and tears from the attendees.

Verzosa also announced that the Christmas party marks the first of two holiday activities at PCMC this season.

Versoza also returned last December 18 to PCMC for a painting and art session for pediatric patients, offering children a creative outlet for expression, healing, and emotional support during treatment.

The series of activities forms part of Verzosa's long-running annual commitment to the PCMC, reflecting his advocacy for children's welfare and sustained community service.

“I will continue to come back year after year, as long as I am able,” Versoza ended.

SV, as he is called by many, is a hardworking and a giving public servant. He was the presenter of the public service series “Dear SV,” which featured stories from various Filipino individuals. The series was also aired on GMA Network, which premiered in November that same year.

These and more make him a Darling of the Press, a lovable TV personality and a guy whose heart is closed to the local entertainment industry.
