'Samahan ng Makasalanan,' starring David Licauco and Sanya Lopez, has reached number one on Amazon Prime Video.
The comedy film Samahan ng Makasalanan has climbed to the number one spot on Amazon Prime Video, drawing attention from viewers for its lighthearted yet meaningful take on redemption.
Directed by Benedict Mique, the film is headlined by “Pambansang Ginoo” David Licauco alongside Sanya Lopez. It follows the story of Deacon Sam (Licauco), a young and idealistic man assigned to Sto. Kristo, a town known for being a haven for sinners.
Determined to make a difference, Deacon Sam forms an unconventional group aimed at guiding the townspeople toward a path of redemption, leading to both humorous and heartfelt moments.
Joining Licauco and Lopez in the film are veteran and comedic actors including Joel Torre, Soliman Cruz, Betong Sumaya, Liezel Lopez, Buboy Villar, Chariz Solomon, and Chanty Videla, among others.
Blending comedy with themes of faith and second chances, Samahan ng Makasalanan continues to gain traction among audiences, now topping streaming charts on Prime Video.
