K-pop star Sandara Park, simply known as Dara, teased that she's currently working on a solo album.

The former 2NE1 member tweeted that the concept of her album would be about herself.

“I will give big spoiler!!! The concept of my album will be 'Sandara Park'” she tweeted.

However, she also said that it's a long way to go before its release and that she can't reveal any more than what she has already said.

“But it's still too early to talk about it coz it's still winter in Korea. Spring is coming and then summer will be after spring,” she said.

She added, “But I can't stop talking bout my album with you guys just relax for now.”

The upcoming album will be Dara's first solo one after she debuted as a member of K-pop group 2NE1 in 2009. In November 2016, the group announced that they were disbanding following one of their members leaving the group.

In the 2022 Coachella event, the group reunited for a surprise performance which was the first one they made as a group six years after disbanding.

Aside from the upcoming album, Dara also dropped a cute cover of the popular Christmas song "Winter Wonderland" on Christmas Eve. She performed John Legend's version of the song with Korean actor Jeong Dong-hwan on the piano.
