Two months since Miss Iloilo City Rabiya Mateo grabbed the crown as Miss Universe Philippines 2020, candidate Sandra Lemonon said she would be spilling the tea about the pageant "soon."
On her Instagram, dated December 17, the Taguig representative asked her online followers to send their questions so she can answer them online.
One fan took the opportunity to ask the beauty queen, “What's the tea about MUP?”
It can be recalled that Sandra previously said she would reveal something about the beauty pageant right after the coronation night of Rabiya.
Sandra replied to the netizen, “It's brewing. Charot. But in all seriousness, I decided to stay silent for now, to 'keep the peace' and be no hot tempers.
“As my intentions are pure, my purpose in speaking up is to improve the pageant community by being transparent and honest.
“All I will share is my truth from the perspective of a candidate of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 who has experienced all three organizations (Miss World, Binibining Pilipinas, and Miss Universe Philippines), and who has witnessed things that weren't aligned with my beliefs and morals.”
She continued, “In summary, you will be hearing from me soon.”

Another fan asked the French-Filipina beauty queen, “Will you join Miss Universe Philippines again? Sana, yes, rooting for you forever. I know your heart, Mama Lemonada [Sandra's nickname with her fans].”
However, Sandra replied, “Aweee… Thank you so much, love. I am so happy to hear that. I appreciate you, but no love. Not until there is more transparency from the pageant industry.”
While the many controversies shrouded Sandra since the coronation night, she hasn't posted since October 22. The beauty queen said she is feeling much better and is now back to her “center.”
“I am doing much better,” she told fans.
“[There were] many trials this year, but it for sure has helped grow to a better person. I am happy that no matter whatever situation I am in, I always stay true to myself, my values and beliefs.”

On October 24, Sandra mentioned she would be revealing news about the beauty pageant, hinting that there was something more about the competition results.
“Get ready, love, tomorrow. I will be announcing big news. It's time to be honest and speak facts,” she posted on her Instagram Story.
By the time she posted her message on Instagram, the finale night of the Miss Universe Philippines pageant had already been pre-recorded.
After Rabiya was announced winner, Sandra posted a follow-up message that said, “The truth always comes out. It's just about timing. Karma is real. Soon. Because we deserve justice.”
Sandra finished the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 in the Top 16.
Since posting, people had already become curious as to what Sandra has in her sleeve. Some speculated that Rabiya cheated her way to gaining the crown, while others concluded that Sandra was only bitter about losing the competition.
On the other hand, Rabiya denied the said allegations and told GMA's 24 Oras, “As much as I want people to love me, 'di naman lahat magugustuhan ako. So ngayon, it's a test of character, a test of faith.
“Pero alam ko kasi na I played the game right and fair.”
