Sanya Lopez said that the lock-in taping for 'First Yaya' went smoothly because of the team's great camaraderie.
The lock-in taping for the upcoming Kapuso series First Yaya, starring Sanya Lopez and Gabby Concepcion, has been paused just in time for the Christmas season.
In a chat with Unang Hirit hosts Suzi Abrera and Lyn Ching today, December 23, Sanya related that this wes the first time she went on a weeks-long lock-in taping.

According to Sanya, she and her co-actors had so much fun during the taping.
"Sobrang saya namin sa 'First Yaya' lock-in taping, pero sinigurado namin na lahat ng safety protocols ay sinunod namin," she said.
Sanya also stressed that the taping ran smoothly because of the great camaraderie among the team.
The cast of First Yaya includes Cassy Legaspi, Maxine Medina, Thia Thomala, Pancho Magno, Kakai Bautista, Gardo Versoza, Jon Lucas, and Cai Cortez.
“'Yung bonding namin ng cast as in sobrang saya. Para na nga kaming magkakapatid.
"Sinasabihan na nga kami ni Direk LA [Madridejos], 'Para kayong since elementary magkakaibigan na, ah.
"'Yung ingay namin, 'yung gulo namin sa set kapag nandyan na kami.
"Pero pagdating sa nagte-tape na kami, talagang lahat seryoso na sa trabaho," she added.
First Yaya follows the story of a Vice President (Gabby), who will later become the President of the Philippines, his first family, and Yaya Melody (Sanya), who serves as a nanny to his children.
The series is directed by LA Madridejos and co-directed by Rechie del Carmen.

Meanwhile, since it's just two days before Christmas, Sanya likewise shared her holiday plans with her brother Kapuso hunk Jak Roberto and the rest of their family.
"Sobrang ready na kami ng Kuya ko sa Christmas. Plano namin na dito lang muna sa bahay. Importante pa rin na lahat ng nandito ay safe.
"Then sa mismong Christmas, pupuntahan ko siguro 'yung lola ko sa Bulacan and 'yung mommy ko," she shared.
Sanya is also part of Isa Pang Bahaghari, an official entry in the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival.
“Talagang pinagbutihan ko rito. Actually, hindi lang ako kundi lahat ng mga kasama ko rito,” she said.
Directed by multi-awarded director Joel Lamangan, Isa Pang Bahaghari stars Nora Aunor, Phillip Salvador, and Michael De Mesa.
The 2020 MMFF will run from December 25 to January 8, 2021, exclusively on Upstream.ph.
