Sanya Lopez is happily in love and blooming during her vacation in China with her special someone.
Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre star Sanya Lopez shared in an exclusive interview with 24 Oras' "Chika Minute" her happy vacation in China recently, accompanied by her "special someone" whose identity has yet to be revealed to the public.
Sanya stated that her trip to China was not just for a vacation and a brief break from work, but that she also had other purposes related to what she described as business.
“Target ng vacation ko pareho eh, vacation slash business. So, nag-aano lang, siyempre sourcing, alam mo 'yun, naghahanap-hanap ka ng puwedeng gawing business,” Sanya shared.
When asked about who she was with during her visit to the country, the Kapuso actress admitted that her “special someone” was her travel companion this time.
“Yes! S'yempre 'yon! Siya, siya, siya. Kasi businessman naman siya e,” she confirmed.
Currently, Sanya is busy promoting the upcoming release of the film Midnight Girls, directed by Irene Villamor, where she stars alongside Kapamilya actresses Jodi Sta. Maria, Loisa Andalio, and Jane Oineza.
In this movie, they play the roles of performers working in Japan. She also shared that they underwent an immersion process and interacted with Filipino entertainers there to better understand the real lives and stories of the people they are portraying.
“Magtatrabaho sila sa umaga, magtatrabaho pa sila sa gabi, may mga sideline sila; kasi sa hirap ng buhay natin, hindi natin kaya mag-survive na iisa lang 'yung pinagkakakitaan,” Sanya expressed.
The said film is set to participate in the Far East Film Festival in Italy this April.
