Two of today's brightest and most popular actresses Sanya Lopez and Jillian Ward joined several Kapuso stars in showing support for It's Showtime's first airing on GMA-7 last Saturday, April 6.

This historic moment on Philippine noontime programming became a top trending topic online with the hashtag #ShowtimeSanibPwersa trending on X.

Meanwhile, Abot-Kamay na Pangarap star Jillian Ward said in an interview with 24 Oras that it is an exciting moment for all the Kapuso and Kapamilya talents that they can now finally collaborate with each other.

She told Nelson Canlas, “Sino po ang mag-aakala na ang It's Showtime pupunta po dito sa GMA and nakakatawa kasi puwede na mag-collaborate talaga ang GMA at ABS. Isang pamilya na po talaga tayo, no more network war.”

For her part, Sang'gre actress Sanya Lopez feels honored that she gets to witness and participate in this moment that will give Madlang Kapuso across the world a reason to smile.

“Nakakatuwa na maging part ka ng isang ganitong klaseng show na talagang makakapagpasaya sa ibang tao.”

Other Kapuso celebrities who were special guests on It's Showtime's April 6 episode include Gabbi Garcia, Chanty of Lapillus, Christian Bautista, Jake Vargas, Glaiza De Castro, Mikee Quintos, and Mark Bautista, wherein they played in “KARAOKIDS.”

In addition, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee became a searcher in the popular segment “EXpecially For You.”

In fact, one of the candidates who wanted to date the Kapuso beauty queen was Sparkle host Martin Javier. In the end, Michelle picked Cebu-based lawyer Oliver Moeller as her date.
