Sanya Lopez compares herself to her character in 'That Thin Line Between,' Gemma Rose
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez talked about her role in Regal Studio Presents: That Thin Line Between where she will be appearing as online seller Gemma Rose.
In a TikTok live on Regal Studio's official account, Sanya shared how she prepared for the role. "Actually nung unang binigay sa akin itong role ni Gemma Rose na online seller kinabahan ako kasi maraming online sellers.
"So kapag nagkamali ka, alam nila 'yun, so kailangan mong pag-aralan. Nanood po ako ng mga livestreams nila."
After appearing in back-to-back dramas, the actress also modestly said said she doesn't let the fame get to her head. "Hindi ko pa po fini-feel talaga. Parang ang dami ko pang patunayan pa pero thankful po na maraming projects na binibigay sa akin.
"Kailangan ko lang po talagang galingan, 'yun lang ang maisusukli ko," she continued.
Just like Gemma Rose, Sanya sees herself as a hard-working go-getter. "Siguro si Gemma Rose palaban lagi at lahat na yata ng klase ng business susubukan niya para makaraos sa buhay."
Sanya also pondered on how relationships have changed during the pandemic, she asked her TikTok viewers, "Kayo ba ay single? Sa tingin n'yo mas dumami ba 'yung merong relationship ngayong nagkaroon ng pandemic?"
"Ako feeling ko mas nabawasan kasi marami sa atin 'yung hindi nagkikita. Siguro kung meron kang ka-relasyon ang hirap magkaroon ng ka-relasyon na malayo kayo sa isa't isa. 'Yung iba rin pwede sa online na lang nagkikita. So feeling ko, for me, mas nabawasan," she said.
The self-confessed no-boyfriend-since-birth actress has a full life right now despite being single.
Catch Sanya Lopez in That Thin Line Between, where she will appear as Gemma Rose, an online seller who moves into a townhouse and immediately butts heads with her neighbor Julius, played by Kapuso actor Ken Chan.
Young Kapuso stars Shanelle Agustin and Sandro Muhlach are also part of the episode.
