
Sarah Lahbati has once again taken the internet by storm, this time with her impressive command of the French language.
In a recent video posted by Vogue Philippines, Sarah effortlessly speaks in French, saying she's going to attend the Mugler show in the Paris Fashion Week (PFW) for the first time.
Being the magazine's correspondent at the PFW, the multilingual actress said she's excited to watch the show because the French luxury fashion brand has a new creative director Portuguese, Paris-based designer Miguel Castro Freitas, who has spent years working for fashion houses including Dior, Dries Van Noten, and Yves Saint Laurent. Among the show's guests were Elizabeth Berkley and Pamela Anderson.
The same video also showed Sarah exchanging pleasantries with Anne Curtis who also gaced the PFW shows.
Sarah delivering a message in French definitely caught the attention of netizens as they were wowed by her linguistic skills. Born to a Filipino mother and a Moroccan father, she was born in Switzerland where the French language is widely spoken.
One commenter said, "Grabeee! She's definitely the most gorgeous, classy at effortless ang beauty! Love that French accent".
For one, it's refreshing to hear a Filipino speak in another language. Not to mention, Sarah can also speak a bit of German and Arabic because of her Moroccan heritage.
Many thought that the actress can pass off as a character in the Netflix series Emily in Paris.
Meanwhile, Sarah speaking French also sparked some playful, lighthearted jokes online, especially due to the context of her separation from her husband, Richard Gutierrez.
