Sarah Lahbati also left a message for people chasing their dreams.
These past few days, celebrity mom Sarah Lahbati seemed to have found a new version of herself in the name of the recently concluded Paris Fashion Week.
In many ways, she enjoyed the part of her that embraced the beauty of a city that feels like “a second home,” which she could not help but share with supporters on her Instagram Broadcast Channel.
“As I sit here back home reflecting on the whirlwind of the past few days, I can't help but marvel at how far I've come since last year,” Sarah wrote, “It's a bit surreal to think back to a time when I felt… lost, my spirit weighed down and the light seemed distant. Yet, here I am, embracing my dreams in a city that feels like a second home.”
According to Sarah, her Paris escapade started as a “simple birthday treat” for herself to enjoy a place she adores. It so happened that her birthday plans aligned with Paris Fashion Week, which was dated from September 23 to October 1, 2024.
“Before I knew it, I found myself immersed in the vibrant pulse of Paris- dashing from shows to presentations, savoring every moment despite the rush,” Sarah wrote online.
Of course, Sarah could not just leave her children behind and not think about their welfare while she was in Paris; nonetheless, she still spoke about dropping the concept of “mom guilt” to balance her responsibilities while pursuing her dreams.
On top of all her amazing activities in Paris, Sarah said her being with fellow Filipinos in Paris was a “significant moment,” especially during the Vogue Threads Philippines.
In the end, Sarah expressed her gratitude for the people who have supported her in her dream and her journey. She considered this as a reminder of why she pursued her path: “to learn, to have fun, and to embrace the beautiful chaos of it all.”
She also left a message to people chasing their dreams and reminded them to keep going.
“You've got this. Make your dreams come true, kid,” Sarah wrote, “Merci, Paris. Je t'aime.”
