Pinoy MD introduced the Golden Turmeric Tea recipe for you to enjoy and relish luyang dilaw. This aromatic beverage is loaded with health benefits and can also help you achieve deep and relaxing sleep.

The ingredients you will have to prepare are:

Chef Chad Datu shared the five easy steps to make this nutritious drink.

First, pour the unsweetened milk in the saucepan, then the ginger, and stir.

“Infuse natin ang ginger para lumabas 'yung natural aroma niya. At the same time, 'yung natural sweetness niya,” said Chef Chad.

To enrich the flavor, add the cinnamon and honey. Once the milk starts to boil, lower the temperature and mix in the turmeric.

“I-steep lang natin 'yung turmeric powder para hindi maluto 'yung mga nutrients niya, ma-retain natin yung curcumin,” he said.

According to Healthline, curcumin "is the main ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.”

Afterwards, add the black pepper to enhance the health benefits from the turmeric powder.

Black pepper is rich in piperine which helps absorb the curcumin of luyang dilaw into our body. This is why these two spices complement each other.

When all the ingredients are well incorporated, sieve it into your cup and you have the Golden Turmeric Tea.
