P-pop Kings SB19 have finally dropped their highly anticipated second full-length album, Wakas at Simula.
According to SB19, Wakas at Simula "closes the chapter of proving ourselves," marking a more confident phase in their journey. With this album, the P-pop Kings embrace bolder steps without overthinking every move, aiming to express themselves more freely and explore deeper, more relatable themes.
Wakas at Simula features 24 tracks, uniting songs from their EP trilogy--Pagsibol, Pagtatag, and Simula at Wakas.
The album also introduces six new tracks, including their collaboration with Queen of C-Pop JOLIN on “Emoji” and Japanese group BE:FIRST on the dance-pop track “Toyfriend."
Alongside the album, SB19 released the music video for "Emoji" featuring JOLIN, which has garnered over 592,700 views as of writing.
The hit track "VISA" is among the new songs included in the album and has already amassed 4.5 million views on YouTube.
Following the album release, SB19 is preparing for their Wakas at Simula Concert on April 18 at the SMDC Festival Grounds, which will serve as the finale to their Simula at Wakas tour.
