SB19 and Kento Nakajima

Are SB19 and Japanese singer-actor Kento Nakajima teasing a new collab?

Filipino pop powerhouse SB19 has sent fans into a frenzy after teasing a potential collaboration with popular Japanese singer and actor Kento Nakajima.

The group posted a photo on X (formerly Twitter) showing members Pablo, Stell, Ken (Felip), Justin, and Josh sharing a Yakiniku meal with Nakajima.

While the photo alone was enough to excite followers, it was the cryptic caption that truly sparked rumors of a joint project.

“Had Yakiniku together,” SB19 wrote in the caption.

“Something might be in the works…” they continued.

Both acts were in Japan after performing at the Summer Sonic Festival 2026 in Osaka. Although neither party has confirmed specific details regarding a release, the teaser strongly suggests a musical or creative partnership is underway.

Fans immediately flooded social media to celebrate the crossover, driving up excitement under the hashtag #SB19_KENTO.

Commenters expressed eagerness for the unknown venture, with posts ranging from enthusiastic congratulations to curious speculation about what's in the works.

“Hmmm…something to look forward to,” a fan wrote.

“Congrats agad whatever that is,” another one said.

“WAAAHHHBBB LET'S GO #SB19_KENTO,” a fan commented.

“OMG WDYM SOMETHING IS BREWING, MAY AABANGAN BA KAMI HIHI?” another one wrote.

The potential collaboration marks another high point in a historic international run for SB19. On July 30, the group became the first Filipino act to ever perform at the prestigious Lollapalooza festival, while also throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a Major League Baseball (MLB) game during the same U.S. trip.

In addition to their recent activities in Japan, SB19 reached another career milestone by making their official debut on Japanese television. The P-pop group performed their latest track, Lawless.

As SB19 continues to expand its global reach, fans from both the Philippines and Japan are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of what this team-up with Kento Nakajima will bring.
