SB19 and A'TIN fans are continuously proud of the group's youngest member, Justin, as he embarks on his solo career.

He is the fourth member of the group to venture into a solo career with his debut single, "Surreal." It showcased Justin's artistic side, emphasizing his vision of the beauty in meaningful coincidences and dreams. The music video also highlights how perfect timing, perseverance, and hard work can transform the impossible into reality.

Following the single, Justin released "Kaibigan," a track that presents a more aggressive and somber tone, reflecting his deep emotions and love for tragic narratives. He not only wrote and directed the song, Justin also starred in the music video.

Despite his achievements, Justin has openly discussed the challenges and self-doubt he faced during this new venture.

In a recent episode of Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel, Justin revealed that stepping into the spotlight alone was a significant shift from his experience with SB19. He noted that, unlike working as a group, he had to make all the decisions himself, without the collaborative brainstorming that SB19 usually engages in.

"Actually po, super kabado po ako as a person din. Talagang medyo, 'yung personality ko po kasi is medyo dependent. Parang as an introvert, parang mahirap po akong humarap sa maraming tao, mag-start ng conversation, ganyan," he shared.

He continued, "So nu'ng nag-start po ako ng solo ko noong February, medyo talagang parang struggle po ako as a solo [artist]. Kasi 'di iba, syempre, pagka-group meron kang kasama to support you. Meron kang karamay. Pero as a solo, ikaw lang mag-isa 'yung lahat. So, medyo mahirap po talaga nu'ng start."

Despite these challenges, Justin also expressed gratitude for the support from his fellow SB19 members. With Pablo producing his songs, the other members have consistently shown their support through praise and congratulations.

"Kasi feel ko kasi para silang proud na kuya minsan na minor achievement lang o let's say maganda lang 'yung pagkakanta ko sa isang part, natutuwa na sila. So 'yung mga ganoong simpleng appreciation po is para raw nakakadagdag na rin, nakaka-help sa confidence ko po," he said.

Regarding balancing his solo career with SB19's schedule, Justin admitted it's been hectic but remains focused on prioritizing the group.

"Actually, mahirap po, syempre. Especially for our management na inaayos nila 'yung schedule, talagang pinagpaplanuhan nila mabuti, pero ayun po siyempre, kami rin naman 'yung SB19, so we really plan or choose kung ano 'yung mga pwede naming magawa na hindi magka-compromise masyado with the SB19 schedule. So syempre priority pa rin si SB19," he explained.
