SB19 member Pablo is honored to be part of this year's Earth Hour celebration as he has been chosen by the World Wide Fund for Nature Philippines (WWF-PH) as its new music ambassador for Earth Hour Philippines 2024.

Pablo is set to headline the annual switch-off event happening in Manila City on March 23.

According to Earth Hour Philippines national director, Atty. Angela Consuelo Ibay, Pablo is the "perfect ambassador" for Earth Hour as he represents Filipinos' passion and resilience.

"As SB19's songwriter, creative director, and CEO of their label, Pablo has masterfully infused his music with Filipino culture, flavor, and style. Earth Hour is a global grassroots movement for the environment and we celebrate it in our own unique Filipino way. Pablo is the perfect ambassador for Earth Hour," Atty. Angela said in WWF-Philippines.

On his Facebook page, Pablo announced this good news, encouraging everyone to join him in the environmental movement.

"I have been chosen as your Earth Hour Philippines 2024 music ambassador. And gusto ko lang po sabihin na sobrang nagagalak po talaga ako ngayon at talaga namang nakakataba ng puso na maging parte ng ganitong klaseng movement," Pablo said.

"But the real reason I'm making this announcement right now is not just about me, it's about all of us making a real difference. This coming March 23 po at 8:30 p.m. sana po ay masamahan n'yo kami. Let's all team up and switch off those lights. And syempre po ay sabay-sabay rin nating i-let go ang paggamit ng mga single use plastics para sa mas sustainable future.

"The event that will happen is not just about that one single hour but it's about showing our love and support and our serious commitment pagdating sa ating planeta. Sana po ay magkita tayo riyan and let us all enjoy good music," the SB19 leader added.
