Comedian Sef Cadayona hits another home run for effectively portraying a new character in Bubble Gang.

From being the "pasaway" child of Michael V. in "Ikaw At Ang Ina" sketch, Sef is now paired with Kokoy de Santos, who both play the roles of hilarious conyo best friends named Olivia and Ella in "Bes Friends."

In an interview with GMANetwork.com last week, Sef related the process of creating Ella and Olivia's world.

The Sparkle actor said, “Nagulat kami ni Kokoy, 'Oh! Ito na pala.' Kung ano 'yung iniisip ko, 'yun na.

“Very thankful ako kay Sir. Chito [Francisco, head writer], kasi siya ang nagsulat ng 'Bes Friends,' very collaborative naman si kuya. So, pagka may nakikita ako mga points lang na puwede dagdagan. Kumbaga, kung paano kami mag-a-act out ni Kokoy, dun sa mga nagbabatuhan ng mga chikahan, pinayagan ako ni Sir Chito na gawin 'yun.”

He continued, “And 'yun nga so far, so good. Kung paano din namin binubuo rin ni Kokoy 'yung character is binabasa muna namin, tapos pinapakiramdaman namin kung ano 'yung fit na character ni Ella tsaka ni Olivia doon sa sketch.”

Sef added that Bubble Gang is effective in doing these sketches because the team listens and observes the public to get a feel about the kind of humor they respond to.

He explained, “Ang Bubble Gang kasi is, kumbaga, nakikinig siya, aware siya sa gustong humor ng tao ngayon. So, tina-tackle nga ng 'Bes Friends' 'yung mga chikahan especially sa social media. 'Tsaka kung paano 'yung mga teens ngayon, kung paano na sila mag-usap. Kung paano sila mag-asaran at kung paano 'yung bonding nila.”

Bubble Gang continues to serve good entertainment every Friday night especially as it relaunches on May 27 at 9:40 p.m.
