After years of being rumored rivals, Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber posed together to put feud rumors to rest.
Singer and actress Selena Gomez and model Hailey Bieber made headlines when they were photographed at the recent Academy Museum of Motion Pictures 2nd Annual Gala, on Sunday.
Photographer Tyrell Hampton took a photo of the two looking very close, and shared it on Instagram with the caption "plot twist."
The photo, which has garnered over 1.3 million likes in a day, debunked rumors that Selena and Hailey are not on good terms due to their fans pitting them against each other for being involved with the same man.
Selena dated musician Justin Bieber publicly on and off for eight years before he tied the knot with Hailey in 2018.
Hailey also clarified rumors of an alleged infidelity on a September episode of "Call Her Daddy" podcast.
She mentioned that there was no "overlap" between her and Selena in relationship to Justin, and she and Selena have spoken privately after she started dating Justin.
"That's why I'm like, it's all respect, it's all love,” Hailey said on the podcast. “That's also why I feel like if everybody on our side knows what happened and we're good and we could walk away from it with clarity and respect then that's fine…Which has brought me a lot of peace and I'm like, 'We know what happened, it is what it is.' You're never going to be able to correct every narrative.”
Meanwhile, Selena welcomed her 30s with a birthday bash attended by one of her close friends--Taylor Swift.
