Senator Tito Sotto turned a year older yesterday, August 24.
He might be busy with his work as Senate President, but Tito Sotto or Tito Sen to many took time to have a short appearance in the hit segment of Eat Bulaga yesterday, August 24, as his fellow dabarkad shower him with greetings on his birthday.
His younger brother and fellow Eat Bulaga pioneer Vic Sotto gave a short but funny greeting to Tito Sen, which elicited a laughter from him.
Bossing quips, “Happy Birthday Kuya! Ewan ko, malamang sa hindi ako nadidinig niyan. Happy Birthday!
“At itong Bawal Judgmental ay dini-dedicate namin sa iyo, sige, puwede ka pumunta sa hearing mo.”
Meanwhile Tito Sen's daughter, Ciara Sotto, who was the guest in Bawal Judgmental thanked her dad for everything he has done.
“I love you very much. Thank you so much for everything.
“Thank you po sa lahat ng ginagawa niyo para sa amin and para sa buong Pilipinas. Thank you so much and may God continue to bless you po.”
Joey de Leon also shared a throwback photo with the birthday boy and Vic on Instagram. He wrote in the captions, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A GREAT PERSON, FRIEND, LEADER AND BROTHER! GOD BLESS YOU! I LOVE YOU! @helenstito @eatbulaga1979”
Meanwhile, Megastar Sharon Cuneta penned a heartfelt tribute for the birthday celebrant whom she considers as her second father.
On Instagram, she went on to say that Tito Sen has been a wonderful parent to his children through all these years.
Sharon said, “To the best second Daddy a girl could ever ask for - Happy, happy birthday, Fath, Daddy, Dada, Da. Thank you for loving me like your very own panganay since I was a toddler. You have never stopped loving me, being there for me, giving me advice, keeping the secrets I've shared with you all these years, etc., etc., etc.
“And thank you, Daddy, for raising Apples, Lala, Giann and Ciara to treat me as their true eldest sister! You and Mama Helen are the kind of parents I wish I could be to my children. I love you very much, Fath.”
Quezon City vice mayor and the only son of Tito Sen, Gian Sotto, shared on social media a story about his first overseas trip with his dad and admitted that they had one emotional moment, because they both miss Helen Gamboa.
"I'm just really grateful and thankful to God for blessing me with the best Dad anyone could ever ask for! I love you so much po Dad! I pray that God continues to bless you and protect you with good health and long life! Everything you do for God, our family and our country inspires me to be a better man of God, a better husband, a better dad and a better servant!
