You know what they say about beer and empty stomachs? Last week, the Buot sisters found out just how problematic empty stomachs can be—Eliza with her slightly deranged ranting to Kokoy, and Samsoon with her less-than-pregnant belly that's competing against Hannah's really slim, but really pregnant body. So what are the Buot sisters to do but to turn to each other for comfort and support, right?
Well, not exactly. Samsoon isn't ready to give up without a fight. Though, she would prefer if Cyrus wouldn't wait around for her to do all the fighting. Then again, he is stepping up by telling Hannah in no uncertain terms that he is marrying Samsoon. But Samsoon still has to deal with his mother and hers.
Meanwhile, Chef Dina can't get over the fact that Marcus seems to have all the latest news that's happening at the restaurant. And though she knows how resourceful he can be when it comes to gossip, she refuses to believe that there's no traitor in their midst. And she does find Marcus' spy—it just didn't occur to her that it isn't the boss-obsessed Cynthia.
And Eliza finally revealed to Kokoy her feelings for him. But, unfortunately for her, Kokoy has moved on and has a girlfriend now. But don't they have a saying for first love never dying too?
There are many things to be sad and happy about, and wines are the perfect companion to any celebration—or the perfect solution to any problem. Just remember: never on an empty stomach! Take it from Samsoon and Eliza.
