K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN is now officially a double million seller, all thanks to Carats!
A few days after releasing their newest album Face The Sun, SEVENTEEN was able to create history as they exceeded two million album sales on its first week of release!
According to Hanteo Charts (a chart that records physical album sales in Korea), the septet was able to hit the two million mark at approximately 4:20 p.m. KST last June 2. By the end of the day, the Face The Sun album had already hit 2,067,769 copies.

SEVENTEEN nearly doubled their first-day album sales having sold 1,758,565 copies on its first day and because of this, they became the fourth highest first-week sales record in Hanteo history as well as the second artist to ever surpass two million sales in the first week of release!
Even before the official release of SEVENTEEN's Face The Sun album, Carats are already expecting the album sales to be a huge success since pre-orders for it surpassed two million last May 20.
SEVENTEEN is grateful for the love and support their fans have given them. Performance unit leader Hoshi even took the time to send a heartfelt message to Carats on their Weverse account.

In his message, he admits, “It seems like yesterday that I cried in tears while eating clams when I heard about 700,000 copies for the first time in our third album. The first volume of the 4th album is 2.06 million…I was dumbfounded and the numbers were so big that even though it was our album, I couldn't believe it until now. Thank you for giving us such undeserved and unbelievable love. We will continue to do our best to Carats as we do now. I will be a singer who will repay you for the love you give.”
