Carats, rejoice! Your favorite K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN is officially back as they release their 10th mini album FML and the music video of “Super,” one of the album's title tracks.
“Super” encapsulates SEVENTEEN's strong willpower to further reach greater heights. The lyrics, written by Woozi, S.Coups, Vernon, BUMZU, and August Rigo, express how eager they are to go higher and solidify their stance as successful artists all while being in a safe and loving environment. The phrases “I love my team,” “I love my crew,” “We already made it this far,” and “I love my team, it's all thanks to you,” were embedded into every Carat's brain.
The song also paid homage to the famous Monkey King from the 16th-century Chinese novel Journey To The West. That's why the accompanying music video showed a martial arts-like choreography and vibe. SEVENTEEN was joined by more than 200 backup dancers which made the song and music video all the more massive and hard-hitting.
Every member shined in their own parts, making this truly one of the best comebacks of SEVENTEEN. Apart from “Super,” the group also released new songs such as “F*ck My Life,” “April Shower,” hiphop unit's “Fire,” performance unit's “I Don't Understand But I Luv U,” and vocal unit's “Dust.” Each of the songs had its own charm that Carats easily fell in love with.
SEVENTEEN's FML comes after their repackaged album SECTOR 17 which they released last July 2022.
