
Hoshi and Woozi of the hit K-pop group SEVENTEEN will begin their mandatory military service in September.
PLEDIS Entertainment, the group's record label, shared the news on Weverse on Tuesday, July 8.
According to PLEDIS, Woozi will enlist for active duty on September 15, while Hoshi will begin his the day after, September 16.
Hoshi and Woozi's last official activities before their military enlistment are SEVENTEEN's 5th Studio Album Yizhiyu video call fan signing and their unit's “HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING]”.
"Following the start of their military service, they will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN's group activities. However, they will continue to stay connected with CARAT through a variety of pre-recorded content," the label noted.
PLEDIS requested fans and supporters to refrain from visiting the site in person on the day of the members' enlistment.
"Please send your heartfelt messages of farewell and encouragement for HOSHI and WOOZI through Weverse," it said.
PLEDIS added, "We ask for your continued love and support for the artists and best wishes for their safe and healthy return. We will also strive to provide our artists with all the necessary support during this time."
Woozi and Hoshi will be the third and fourth members of SEVENTEEN to fulfill their mandatory military services, following Jeonghan and Wonwoo.
Hoshi and Woozi released their 1st Single Album "BEAM" as HxW in March 2025, with "96ers" as the title track.
