SEVENTEEN's vocalist Woozi recently addressed rumors and accusations about the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their music production.
The controversy first emerged during a previous press conference, when Woozi mentioned experimenting with AI to explore its capabilities and limitations while ensuring it aligns with their artistic identity.
Following this, media outlet Soompi stated that a foreign news outlet reported that SEVENTEEN and other famous artists might have used AI in their music productions.
In response, Woozi took to his personal Instagram account, posting a simple message in both Hangul and English. He wrote in his story, "All of SEVENTEEN's music is written and composed by human creators.”
Co-music producer and SEVENTEEN's music mentor, BUMZU, echoed this statement on his Instagram and additionally added another one with only the group's recent title track name, "Maestro." Most fans interpreted it as a nod to their reputation as originally hitmakers.

According to Soompi, a source from PLEDIS Entertainment further clarified the alleged accusations. “It is not true that AI was used for lyrics of SEVENTEEN's songs,” they said while conveying their request to correct the information written in the relevant article, which has since been edited.
Woozi's proactive stance sparked a wave of support from CARATs (SEVENTEEN's fandom) on social media, particularly on platforms like X (formerly known as Twitter). As they keep on praising his clarity and resolve, the K-pop star's name reached the top 3 list trending on the social media platform.
Woozi is part of the well-known K-pop group SEVENTEEN, where he is the vocalist and music producer of the group. He created tons of hit songs for the group like "Maestro," "Super," "Hot," "Very Nice," and many more.
With his talents, Woozi's works garnered recognition at various award events. In 2019, just three years after his debut, he became a member of the Korean Music Copyright Association.
