Shamaine Buencamino celebrated her 36th wedding anniversary with veteran actor Nonie Buencamino by sharing an emotional and sweet message on her Instagram account.

The veteran actress shared a candid photo of Nonie, pairing it with a message that beautifully captures their decades-long partnership.

She opened her tribute with a poetic description of their bond, illustrating a love blessed by the heavens, where she used the lyrics from Sun and Moon, a song from the world-renowned musical Miss Saigon.

“You are sunlight and I moon, joint by the Gods of fortune, midnight and high noon,” Shamaine wrote in the caption.

Shamaine warmly greeted her husband, affectionately calling him her “sun,” while highlighting Nonie's remarkably optimistic nature.

She also expressed her deep gratitude for his unwavering understanding and pouring out his love for her throughout their 36 years together.

“@buencaminoanthony Happy 36th [anniversary] my sun!” Shamaine wrote.

She continued, “Kahit nakasimangot ka dito, ikaw ang pinaka-positive na taong kilala ko. Salamat sa 36 years na pag-intindi at pagmamahal! Mahal na mahal kita.”

The couple is widely regarded as one of the most stable and respected pairs in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Beyond their stellar achievements on stage, television, and film, Nonie and Shamaine have also been vocal advocates for mental health awareness, turning personal family tragedies into a mission to help others.

Nonie is part of the cast of the upcoming GMA Prime series Hari ng Tondo, which stars Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo and Kapuso Primetime Action Hero Ruru Madrid.
