Sharmaine Arnaiz returns on GMA primetime in the newest Kapuso action series, Sherlock Jr.

In an exclusive interview with the actress, she told us a bit about her character in the show.

According to Sharmaine, "My role here is the mom of Gabbi na isang OFW working in Paris to provide for my daughter. Tinatago ko kung sino 'yung tatay niya, it's a secret. 'Yung character ko revolves around that."

Sherlock Jr. introduces the audience to our newest and cutest Kapuso star and she's none other than Serena or Siri the golden retriever. Sharmaine expressed that working with a dog on set is a treat.

"Nung story conference, I met Serena and sa set, may tent pa para sa kaniya. Bongga! I love working with her because I love dogs. Since I was young, I've always been a pet lover. I actually took veterinary medicine and finished the course, it's just that I'm not practicing," she said.

Lastly, Sharmaine hopes that everyone will like their new show. "The viewers should watch out for the variety of actors like Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia, na nakakakilig. There's also Aiai, she's so funny and she will show a different side as well with Kuya Roi Vinzon. Also stay tuned for Tonton Gutierrez, Rochelle Barrameda, and me. The audience has a lot of angles to look at so I hope that we will be able to satisfy them with the suspense, the drama, the love story. I'm hoping that people of all ages will like it."
