Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan had an intimate silver wedding celebration with their children.
It's a silver wedding anniversary for Megastar Sharon Cuneta and her husband, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan.
And to celebrate the momentous occasion, the couple shared loving messages on their respective social media accounts, where they penned sweet nothings to each other.
For starters, the singer-actress posted a photo of themselves on their wedding day and thanked Kiko for staying by her side through all these years.
“Twenty-five years ago today, these two knuckleheads got married,” she began.
“The boy, now a Senator of the Republic, and the girl, a singer-actress-TV show host who has always had a hatred for politics, managed to stay together, raising the girl's daughter, and two more girls of their own, plus a long prayed-for son who finally was gifted by the Almighty to them and was borne of his Mama's heart.”
Sharon continued, “To my “neighbor,” my “dork,” “dadeh,” “sutart,” “sumpart,” ex-boyfriend and husband, HAPPY SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! Imagine??!! Who'd have thought we'd make it this far? And with our four not-so-little knuckleheads at that!
“Thank you for being a strong head of this family - the greatest Dad on earth to our children, and though masungit, makulit and stubborn, a thoughtful and loving husband to me.
“Thank you for your Godliness and never-wavering faith in God; your endless reminders to trust in Him and to forgive those who have hurt us. I wish people could know you and the goodness of your heart the way we do...We are proud to be called your family.”
Sharon ended her message by saying how she's looking forward to growing old with Kiko and spend their life together forever.
“Thank you for standing by me and being my rock. Thank you for just being you,” she said.
“Here's to another few decades together, when I shall eventually look like your daughter (hahahahaha! Because you're not a vampire like we are!). Love you, neighbor. Whew! 25! SILVER! Praise God now and forever.”
Meanwhile, the 57-year-old senator promised to stay faithful to his wife until the rest of his life.
Kiko posted, Happy Anniversary, Sweetheart! Despite our inability to celebrate our 25th [anniversary] as we had planned and wished for, more than the celebration is our thanksgiving as husband, wife, and family for God's love, His unwavering faithfulness, and the presence of His miraculous guiding hand in our marriage and family life all these years.”
He continued, “Happy 25th, my sweetheart!! I love you always, always, always, forever, forever forever.”
Sharon Cuneta met Kiko Pangilinan at her brother's wedding in 1994. The two then went on a series of dates together, following their marriage in 1996.
The couple has three daughters, KC Concepcion, whom Kiko adopted, Frankie and Miel. They also have an adopted son named Miguel, whom they introduced in 2012.
