Take a look at the reason why Sharon Cuneta was not allowed in Hermès

Megastar Sharon Cuneta recently clarified why she was not let in the Hermès store in a mall in South Korea.

In an Instagram post on Friday, Sharon asked her fans and followers not to feel bad about Hermès not letting her in their store, in response to the netizens' comments and reactions. According to the actress, what the store did was just COVID-19 measures.

“Name-brand stores even in the U.S. [only] allow a certain number of people in at a time - sometimes 10 lang, while the others wait in line outside of the store,” she said.

She added that there are also stores that can only accommodate shoppers who made appointments and that it's ok if she was not able to enter.

On that same day, the Megastar posted a travel vlog of their family trip to Seoul, South Korea where part of their itinerary was to go shopping. In her vlog, after being turned away by the store, she and her family went to the Louis Vuitton shop next door and were received warmly.

She was then shown coming out of the store with multiple bags.

Sharon admitted in her vlog and in her post that she only wanted to buy a belt in Hermès and was not planning to buy anything else.

“Kaya ayoko pumapasok sa ibang stores na di ko plano puntahan ang dami kong nakikita eh!” she added.

Since the world is still under a pandemic, protocols must be followed especially in public places. The coronavirus disease or COVID-19 can spread through droplets and contact with an infected person. The virus also spreads more easily indoors and in crowded areas, which is why there is a limit as to how many persons can enter an establishment.
