Sharon Cuneta and her daughter, Frankie Pangilinan, react to senatorial candidate Kiko Pangilinan's position in the partial and unofficial results of the 2025 election.
Megastar Sharon Cuneta is on cloud nine after her husband, Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan, is poised to return to the Senate.
Pangilinan defied pre-election surveys that put him outside the Magic 12.
Based on the latest 2025 National and Local Elections Partial Unofficial Results (as of 10:54 am, May 13), Pangilinan occupies the 5th spot with over 12 million votes.
Assessing what happened, Sharon took to Instagram to express her thoughts about this amazing result achieved by her husband.
She wrote, I BELIEVE THAT MIRACLES STILL HAPPEN!!! All we did before and apart from our hard work in the campaign was PRAY, TRUST, PRAY, PRAISE AND GLORIFY GOD NO MATTER WHAT! And last night over dinner with our son, we prayed with our angel girls at home and said that NO MATTER THE OUTCOME, WE WOULD PRAISE HIM!!! And we THANKED HIM WITH ALL OUR HEARTS FOR JUST THE OPPORTUNITY FOR KIKO TO “APPLY” TO BE A SERVANT OF THE PEOPLE.”
The multi-awarded actress-singer also thanked everyone who supported Kiko throughout the campaign.
“ MARAMING, MARAMING SALAMAT PO SA INYONG MGA NAGTITIWALA, NANINIWALA, SUMUSUPORTA, NANGAMPANYA, NAGTYAGA SA HIRAP, INIT AT PAGOD, NAGDASAL, AT BUMOTO KAY KIKO KAHAPON! WALANG EPEK ANG SOBRANG PANINIRA NG TROLLS AT MGA NAGPAPABAGSAK SA KANYA!
"Wala naman silang sinabi sa inyong mga nag-isip na botante at lalong lalo na sa Panginoon! Mabuhay ang ating mahal na Pilipinas! May God bless us all!! Like her mom, Frankie Pangilinan was also overwhelmed by the support given to her dad.
She wrote on X, sharing a snippet of her dad's TV interview, "[K]anina lang sabi ni dad handa na daw syang magpahinga tas sabi ni Lord wag muna.
"[D]i talaga ako makapaniwala guys 8 hrs ago lang pinaguusapan na namin mga backup plan na ni sir."
She also took this opportunity to thank the supporters of her dad: "[M]araming maraming maraming maraming maraming maraming salamat."
