Kapuso actress Sheena Halili and her husband Jeron Manzanero marked their third year as a couple on August 14, 2020.

In a new vlog, Sheena shared how she planned to give Jeron a simple surprise despite the pandemic.

"Wala lang, kasi siyempre napaka hardworking niya. Parang sobrang pasensyoso niya sa mga naging moods ko, namin ng baby ko. Surprise natin siya kahit papano," she explains.

She had some balloons, flowers, and a few other simple decorations sent to her home.

"Palagi naman siya 'yung nagsu-surprise sa akin. So ngayon, surprise natin siya," she says.

Sheena set up the decorations in their living room with her helper Ate Lanie.

Ate Lanie disinfected the balloons one by one before placing them on the living room floor.

Sheena made a photo wall by sticking a few of her and Jeron's couple photos on their living room curtain.

She also got a bit impatient as she waited for Jeron to come home.

"Ang tagal. Ayaw pang sumagot sa tawag ko. Matutunaw na 'yung mga kandila ko. Kakaloka naman. Baka may binili pa," Sheena speculated.

And it turns out that she was right!

Jeron appeared in their doorway with a small box which he handed to Sheena.

"Happy anniversary," he greeted before expressing his surprise at the balloons and pictures in the living room.

Sheena considered the surprise a success.

"Sayang! Hindi ko makita 'yung facial expression niya. Naka mask siya. Hindi ko naman mapatanggal 'yung mask niya. Nasa labas pa siya ng bahay," she says with a laugh.

Sheena and Jeron were married earlier this year and are expecting their first child.

Sheena recently opened up about her battle with anxiety while pregnant and revealed that Jeron has been instrumental in her decision to seek help.
