GMA Network strums a new story with musical rom-com series 'My Guitar Princess'

The upcoming show held a media conference today, April 27, wherein the star-studded cast came in full force to promote their series.

During the panel interview, Sheryl Cruz commended her co-star Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose's work ethics.

The singer/actress will play the role of Adele, the mother of Julie Anne’s character Celina.

Sheryl said, “Well itong batang ito [ay] napakabait. Very rare na makakita ako ng mga artista at this point na kasing gracious niya, kasing humble niya. At tsaka, very educated, so she is here to learn and she loves her craft.”

“So ‘yun 'yung mga napagkukuwentuhan namin and she loves her fans. I’m sure na she’ll have longevity in show business even in the singing industry. So, I just wished her well to continue what she is doing now,” she added.

Sheryl was also impressed on how the Kapuso diva is managing her love life and her professional career.

Julie Anne San Jose is currently dating Kapuso drama actor Benjamin Alves.

According to Sheryl, “Pero sa nakikita ko ha, she doesn’t mix her personal life with her professional life and I applaud her for that.”
