Inamin ng batikang singer-actress na si Sheryl Cruz sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda na nag-propose sa kaniya noon ang kaniyang ex-partner na si Anjo Yllana bago siya lumipad patungong Amerika kung saan niya naman nakilala ang napangasawa niya noon na si Norman Bustos.

Sa episode ng nasabing talk show ngayong Huwebes, game na ikinuwento ni Sheryl sa King of Talk na si Boy Abunda ang paudlot-udlot na love story nila ni Anjo.

“Is it true na wala kayong closure ni Anjo?” tanong ni Boy kay Sheryl.

Rebelasyon naman ni Sheryl, “Actually, nagtampo ako sa kaniya noon because he actually asked for my hand in marriage that time before I left for the States and decided to actually try it there, that's when I met Norman.”

Kuwento ni Sheryl, sinagot niya naman ang proposal ni Anjo pero hindi rin natuloy ang kanilang kasal.

“Nagtampo ka because? Bakit hindi natuloy?” usisa ni Boy.

Sagot ni Sheryl, “Because nga he asked for my hand in marriage and I said, 'Yes.' Tapos…I found out na he got somebody pregnant so kahit papa'no 'di ba? 'You broke my heart.'”

Pero paglalahad pa ni Sheryl, sinubukan pa nilang ayusin ni Anjo ang mga natitira sa kanilang relasyon nang bumalik na siya sa Pilipinas noon.

Aniya, “It was actually amazing because by the time I went back here sa Philippines and I myself got separated and divorced, nagkaroon kami ng moment na we were able to see each other again and we were able to catch up on things and tried to I guess have another go at it.”

Kahit pa hindi natuloy ang dapat sana'y second chance na para sa kanilang love story, hanga naman daw si Sheryl sa pagiging mabuting ama ni Anjo sa kaniyang mga anak.

“But then you know hinahangaan ko siya because he's a very good father and maayos naman 'yung mga anak niya 'yung gano'n. Same thing naman for me 'di ba? If it doesn't really quite work out with your relationship, it doesn't mean that you cannot be a good parent,” ani Sheryl.

Paglilinaw naman ng aktres sa estado ng relasyon nila ngayon ni Anjo, “But you know, that's already water under the bridge, we're good friends.”

Samantala, inamin din ni Sheryl na may espesyal na tao na rin sa kaniyang buhay ngayon pero hindi niya pa ito ipinapakilala sa publiko.

Aniya, “I don't want kasi to have another failure of a relationship. If ever 'di ba? Siguro women my age whose just going at it for a second go in terms of relationship siguro it's just a matter of like companionship, partnership, with mutual respect in love.”
