K-Pop boy group SHINee gave their fans special treats in celebration of their 14th anniversary on Wednesday, May 25.
K-Pop boy group SHINee has stood the test of time and proven to everyone that they're not just a group, they are family. They are still garnering tons of love and support from their Shawols (fans of SHINee) all over the world, 14 years after the boy band's debut on May 25, 2008.
On Wednesday, Onew, Key, Minho, and even Taemin, who is currently away for his mandatory service duties, posted memorable throwback photos of the group to commemorate the day that changed their lives forever.
On their YouTube channel, SHINee released a video titled “14 Years with SHINee,” which features various music videos of the group from their debut year 2008 to today.
The six-minute video starts off with SHINee's “Replay” music video and shows how young the members were back then. Other hit songs featured were “LUCIFER,” “Hello,” “Fire,” “Dream Girl,” “Your Number,” “View,” “Tell Me What to Do,” “Sunny Side,” and “Superstar.” Towards the end of the clip, the words “2023 SHINee is back,” can be seen, in the same manner when their 2021 comeback was announced during the SMTOWN LIVE "Culture Humanity" concert.
SHINee capped their 14th anniversary celebration through an online party at 10:30 pm KST. The livestream showcased Onew, Key, and Minho sitting down and talking to Shawols as they share memories and experiences for the past 14 years. They also shared updates on Taemin and how excited they are to be together again once their maknae is discharged from the military.
