Following the success of his first solo fan meeting in Manila, SHINee's Onew promised his Filipino Jjinggus and Shawols that he would be back.
SHINee's leader Onew was grateful for the warm support he received from his Filipino fans during his "GUESS" fan meeting in Manila held at the New Frontier Theater on July 4.
This was the Korean superstar's first solo fan meeting in Manila, which was part of his first solo Asia tour, "GUESS," his first project after joining new agency GRIFFIN Entertainment.
Presented by L-Squared Productions, Onew's almost three-hour fan meeting was filled with breathtaking performances of his songs and unforgettable moments, including playing games with his fans and making them kilig while speaking Tagalog.
Before his fan meet ended, Onew received a surprise video greeting from his Filo Jjinggus and Shawols. After watching the video, Onew thanked everyone, and said, "I will make sure that this energy that I received from you guys, I will use it for good purposes."
"Because as long as you guys waited, I also waited for this. I know we can sing along [again] in the future. Thank you so much and I love you guys," he added.
Onew promised to return to the Philippines while waving his pinky finger.
He also wrote a letter to his fans, saying, "We did a lot of things together and we have to continue to do it together. I'm grateful for your faith in me until now. Please continue to take good care of me. Let's meet for a long time."
