Onew's return in April will be his first comeback since the release of his debut solo EP 'Voice' in December 2018.
SHINee's Onew is preparing for a solo comeback after three years!
According to a Top Star News report, an official from SM Entertainment announced that Onew will be making his return with a solo album in April.
"Onew is preparing for a solo album with the aim of releasing it in April," the agency stated.

This will be Onew's first comeback since the release of his debut solo mini album 'Voice' in December 2018.
In January 2022, Onew hinted at his solo comeback when he appeared on SBS entertainment show My Little Old Boy, where he sang a few lines of SHINee's debut single "Replay" live and said, "If you wait a little longer, I think I can repay you with a wonderful song."
As of this writing, the hashtag "SHINee" is trending on Twitter with more than 40,000 tweets. Fans have also expressed their excitement on Twitter.

Onew, who returned from military service in July 2020, made a comeback with SHINee's seventh full-length album Don't Call Me and repackage album Atlantis. He recently dropped the SM STATION single "Way," a collaboration track with Korean singer Punch.
