Sunday All Stars battle, Rachelle Ann Go and Kyla yet again found themselves competing for the same team and singing alongside each other.
Rachelle from Ligang iLike and Kyla from Tropang Trending were on the same side this week as their teams merged into Tropang iLike under Sef Cadayona and Yassi Pressman.
Not only did the duo wow the audience with their powerful voices and colorful performance, but they both bagged the week’s Best Performers award.
Although their team lost to Rochelle Pangilinan and Mark Bautista’s Tweet Gang, Rachelle and Kyla had a blast with their renditions of Tears for Fears’
Everybody Wants to Rule the World and Beyonce's
Who Run The World.
Rachelle, who is fondly called Shin by her friends, was very pleased not only with the result of the performance but also getting to duet with Kyla again. “Nakakatuwa… Na-miss ko ang tandem na ‘to,” she said.
Their tandem used to regularly showcase all-out song and dance numbers in
Party Pilipinas, and gained the avid liking and support of many viewers.
After their
Sunday All-Stars duet and their winning the week’s Best Performers award, the powerhouse singers were showered with praises on Twitter for their stage reunion:
