After nine long years, your favorite interactive game is back! Airing weeknights, Gobingo takes pride as one of the world’s well-loved game show. Mauricio A fun-filled night greeted the press when they attended the Gobingo press conference at the Broadway Centrum in Quezon City. With the original host welcoming the media as if no time has passed since Gobingo last aired years ago, Arnel Ignacio was as funny and witty when he first hosted this game from 1996-1999. Bingo Fever To refresh the memory of the people who attended the re-launch of this show, members of the press were picked and asked to play the interactive game. In the first game, the contestants competed to light the four corners of their bingo card to win the first round. For a contestant to gain a lighted number, he/she should answer Arnel’s question correctly. In round 2 a lit middle row was the target of each contestant. While in round 3 each contestant played the blackout game, where all the numbers in their card should be lit in order to win the and advance to the jackpot round. While the three contestants were playing the game, the other members of the press, were given bingo cards to play the blackout game. Ms. Anabelle Rama and Joseph Gonzalez won the game. The Game Master Sporting a tailored shirt with colorful bingo cards printed all over, Arnel Ignacio was in high spirits during the mock game and was even teasing some members of the press whom he had grown to like. But when the question and answer segment of the event came, Arnel became serious and answered all the issues and questions that were asked relating to show, his return to the Kapuso network and his new manager, Ms. Anabelle Rama. “Indescribable 'yung nararamdaman ko! 'Yung talent ko na nare-recognize at 'yung chance na makipagbigay na naman ng saya everyday is an indescribable joy. Element ko talaga ito eh, na magdadaldal at hayaang kang magisip kung ano ‘yung sasabihin mo plus 'yung pressure which I love so much. Ito 'yung format na very at home ako,” was Arnel’s response on how he feels to be back at the helm of Gobingo. He further adds that he feels blessed that this project was given to him again and that GMA has entrusted him to be the game master of this interactive game show. “Malaki ang pasasalamat ko sa GMA in spite of sa lahat ng mga nangyari, nire-recognize nila 'yung talent ko ang match na match dito, at kay Tita Anabelle at kay Ma’am Wilma Galvante an nangugulat lagi sa kanyang mga sorpresa, nakakatouch kasi alam mo na importante ka pa rin sa kanila,” concludes Arnel rather emphatically.
