Sparkle artist Shuvee Etrata paid a heartfelt tribute to the man who played a significant role in her artista journey.
On Instagram, Shuvee shared a series of photos and videos of her dreams turning into reality.
She began her post by thanking "Sir W" or Wilfred Siy, the owner and chief executive officer (CEO) of Jag Jeans. Shuvee is one of the clothing brand's celebrity brand ambassadors. Siy passed away on January 1 at 63 years old.
"Throughout my entire artista journey, I've always been deeply grateful to Jag, and especially to you, Sir W," she said.
Shuvee said that when Sir W welcomed her to the clothing brand, he became a constant source of inspiration to her. She also described Sir W as someone who can make people feel "truly seen and valued."
"You were the first person to make my dreams a reality," she continued.
"I came from an island, dreaming of becoming a doctor, and through your support, you made the impossible possible--helping me pursue opportunities in Manila that I could never have imagined."
The Sparkle artist said she will always be grateful to Wilfred Siy for opening many opportunities for her.
"Rest in peace, Sir W. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten," she ended, celebrating his legacy.
