Kinongratulate din ng taumbayan ang impersonator na si Simpleni kasabay ng proklamasyon ni VP-elect Leni Robredo.
Opisyal na iprinoklama ng National Board of Canvassers ang pagkapanalo ni Congresswoman Leni Robredo bilang susunod na Bise Presidente ng Pilipinas noong Biyernes, May 27.
Kasama ng pagkapanalo ng Camarines Sur representative, kinongratulate din ng taumbayan ang impersonator na si Simpleni ng Sunday PinaSaya.
“The people were also congratulating me, parang it got weird kasi minsan hindi mo na alam when you are yourself and when you are Leni,” saad ni Joierie Pacumio na siyang naging viral sa social media dahil sa kanyang panggagaya sa Vice President-elect.
“I really look like her because of the eyes pero hindi ko talaga nakita ‘yun and then when I got home, pagkita ko sa salamin, nakita ko si Congresswoman Leni. It was so surreal!” sambit ng dalaga sa GMA News and Public Affairs video patungkol sa kanyang post performance experience sa 31st Live A.I.D.S. (Ang Istoryang Dinebelop ng Samaskom) ng University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication.
Masaya siya sa pagkapanalo ng kanyang Vice President bet, “I think it’s a wonderful experience for me, and I think it’s really meant for her. It’s such a poetic ending. It’s a coincidence; the stars aligned to give it to her on that day.”
Ikinuwento pa niya ang unang beses na nakilala niya ang Liberal Party candidate, “The first time I met her was during the send-off of the Sumilao farmers in Quezon [Memorial] Circle. When she saw me, she was still accommodating other people.”
Napansin daw siya ni Leni dahil sa kanyang dilaw na kasuotan, “When she saw me, she flashed a big smile and then she said, ‘Uy, alam mo meron din akong ganyang dress.’”
Samantala, naging makahulugan rin ang paghaharap nina incoming President Rodney “Dugong” Juterte (Jose Manalo) at outgoing President PNyoy (Willie Nepomuceno) sa Sunday PinaSaya kahapon, May 29.
