“I got told I have Meniere's Syndrome.

“But I'm grateful that I went early and you know, they worked out what it was real quick. Erm…I got put on the right medicine and I feel much better today. I'm super grateful for my health.

“I'm fine though. No, I'm good. Everyone is like 'I'm so sorry.' It's fine. It could be worse. It is what it is.

“I know that a lot of people suffer with it and I've actually had a lot of people reach out to me and like, give me great advice.”

Jessie posted highlights of her IG live and part of her caption read: “I'm not posting this for sympathy. I'm posting this because this is the truth. I don't want anyone thinking I lied about what actually happened.

“I wasn't aware of Meniere's before now and I hope this raises awareness for all the people who have been suffering way longer or worse than I.

“Appreciate EVERYONE who has taken the time out to check on me, those who have offered advice and support. Thank you. You know who you are. 🥰

“I love you all 🤍🏻

“It's been a weird yEAR for all of us.

During the same IG live, the “Domino” and “Flashlight” singer serenaded her followers and gave them a message for the holiday season.

“I've just been laying low in silence. That's the first time I've been able to sing and actually bare it. You can hear I'm not very good at singing loud yet.

“I just miss singing so much and being around anyone. (laughs)

“But I just wanted to wish you, guys, a really merry, happy holiday Christmas season.”

Meniere's Syndrome affects the inner ear, which is responsible for hearing and balance.

It's symptoms include vertigo or dizziness, tinnitus or ringing in the ear, feeling of fullness in the ear and hearing loss.

While its cause is unknown, the symptoms of Meniere's Syndrome seem to result from the abnormal amount of the fluid endolymph in the inner ear.

This chronic condition has no cure but its symptoms can be managed through medication and sometimes surgery.
