Time to pursue an even bigger dream for OPM singer Ronnie Liang!
Learning never stops for Pinoy Pop Superstar alumnus Ronnie Liang after fulfilling his dream to become a licensed pilot.
This time around, the chinito heartthrob is pursuing his dream of getting a diploma in graduate school.
In his Instagram post, Ronnie shared that he enrolled himself at the Philippine Christian University and is taking up his master's degree.
He posted, “1st semester is almost over!
“Taking my Masters Degree, Major in National Security & Administration.
“Truly, Learning has No boundaries, Learning has No Limits.
“#GraduateSchool #Masteral #MastersDegree.”
According to Ronnie, one of his realizations during the pandemic is the value of education.
“I said to myself na kailangan kong matuto pa--mga bagay na hindi ko pa alam.
"That's why I took the chance na mag-enrol. God is good because I have my Saturday na pwede kong isingit ang online school,” Ronnie said in a statement.
He added, “We really should value education. Habang may oras ka pa, learn and study.
"I'm doing this to improve myself and also to inspire others na rin na hindi hadlang ang pandemic upang matuto.
"There are available online classes na puwede nilang subukan.”
The singer-actor said a graduate degree in national security and administration would be very helpful for him as a military reservist.
"Kung mapapansin n'yo, I'm taking a major na related din sa pagiging army reservist ko.
"Marami akong pinagdaanan na trainings nung nag-enter ako as reservist and I said na why not ipagpatuloy ko na so here I am hoping to finish my master's degree.
"After this, we will see. Basta I remain loyal to Philippine army.”
Meanwhile, Ronnie does not see any problem about juggling the responsibilities as a singer-actor, military reservist, and a student.
He explained, "Time management talaga and also discipline.
"I always make sure na tama ang oras ko sa bawat bagay na ginagawa ko.
"Hindi pwedeng naka-focus lang ang oras mo sa isang bagay.
"Lahat naman ng ginagawa ko ay para ma-inspire ang kabataan.
"I sing for the people. I dedicate my service to Filipinos.
"Importante rin ang displina sa sarili. I believe na kapag disiplinado ka, mas malaki ang chance mong maabot ang goal mo sa buhay.”
Aside from his singing career and being a pilot, Ronnie is also an Army reservist for the Philippine Army.
