Sis conquers the Land of the Rising Sun! Did you miss out on the Japan-based episodes of Sis? Read on to find out what happened!
Sis conquers the Land of the Rising Sun! Not content with consistently topping the morning ratings here at home, Janice and Gelli de Belen travel to Tokyo, Japan. What were they up to? Janice and Gelli de Belen recently went to Tokyo, Japan to conduct a show for their Filipino and Japanese fans. For the past few days, their daily morning show, Sis, attested to the fun they had while there. The only damper was that their soul sister Carmina Villaroel was not there to join them. But work is work and the dynamic duo swept Tokyo by storm. Day One On day one of their traipsing around the land of anime, they did an Amazing Race-like contest where they divided their special guests into two teams. stars “Pasyalan with a twist!” was how Janice explained it as she and Gelli read out the mechanics of the game to their contestants. The Ninjapan Team of Rochelle Pangilinan and Ariel Rivera were excited and raring to go while the Japaninja Team of Dennis Trillo and Aira Bermudez talked about their strategy. After the challenges and relays, it was the quick street smarts and charm of Dennis and Aira that won the game! The winners got one lapad each and the runners-up came home with one thousand yen. Day 2 The next day was even more exciting when the Sisters threw a party for their fellow Kapusos. The Sexbomb Dancers performed several of their signature grooves. Rochelle even sang and rapped her solos! Meanwhile, Dennis and Ariel serenaded the ladies with their “kilig” tunes. Of course, the games still continued. Japanese and Filipino alike participated in their wacky games of "bring me", dance showdowns and word translations. If you've been keeping tuned then you know that whether they are in their own country or hosting from foreign soil, it is obvious that the SIS-ters are well-received and welcomed. We can't wait to see what they'll do next! Catch these videos of your favorite sisters in town: MMFF Stars Kagat Labi Fever Recipes for the Holidays
