Slater Young

According to Slater Young, he and his team will continue to listen to the concerns regarding The Rise at Monterrazas.

Former actor and engineer Slater Young has answered the criticisms that his new project, The Rise at Monterrazas, received after he unveiled it last month. He said that the response they got was “overwhelming,” but expressed his appreciation for everyone who took the time to leave a comment.

“Narinig namin lahat ng mga concerns n'yo, and we continue to engage even more expert groups and even environmental advocates to look over our plans and our goal here is to listen,” he said in a video reel he posted on his Facebook account.

Inspired by the Banaue Rice Terraces, The Rise at Monterrazas will be built on the mountainside. Netizens expressed their concerns about its impact on the environment.

According to Slater, their team of architects, engineers, and sustainability experts have worked on the project for a long time.

“We went through about 300 revisions just to make sure that we build this according to the best practice possible,” he said.

He then added that he would post updates about the project's development, saying that the people deserve full transparency about it.

“We share all your concerns and we will continue to listen,” he said.

He ended the video by saying, “Thank you so much, guys, for all your love and support.”
